I’m so excited to start off Season 2 of Women Who Work With Men with Lana Camiel a pharmacist, herbalist and professor. Lana is an expert to show us how to reduce the stress and increase our focus in a really healthy way.
Why is a podcast about Women Who Work With Men focusing on wellness to start the 2nd season?
Oh c’mon you know why – if we want to take those big leaps in your career and create an amazing life we can’t do it when we are just plain worn out/stressed out.
I’ve totally been there and I always tried to do was just push through it – no – it doesn’t work – not for the long run. Pushing through, soldiering on, toughing it out is just not sustainable. That’s why Lana Camiel is on right now. She’s a wellness insider who you can totally relate to – she’s a professional, she’s doing a million things and she has figured out how to safely combine the magic of food, herbs and self-care without a bunch of woo-woo.
Herbs and natural approaches can be a bit intimidating and Lana is the expert you can trust.
The idea of herbs and natural approaches to stress relief and indeed better health can be intimidating. Let’s face it there are a lot of quacks out there and it’s hard to know who to trust.
That’s why I love about Lana – she brings together the scientific approach of a pharmacist and combines it with a serious study of food, herbs and self-care. Lana is the person you can trust.
She also got started with it because of her own experience of getting worn out during her rigorous path to a PhD.
Lana is a perpetual learner – just the kind of person that inspires all of us. We met through Seth Godin’s altMBA program and she has gotten me hooked on her weekly newsletter ( you will want to sign up for it). She has amazing blog posts, she is a top writer in Food on Medium, she’s a writer for Thrive Global and several other publications.
